Manage Settings in the Unified Platform

Written by Mounir Mouslim

This article explains how to access and manage settings for modules in the Onclusive Unified Platform.

Settings are module-specific. While the navigation is shared across modules, configuration options apply only to the module you are currently using. Each module maintains its own settings, user management, and configuration options.

Access settings

You can access module settings directly from the platform interface.

  1. Open the module you want to work in.

  2. In the left navigation bar, locate the Settings icon at the bottom.

  3. Click the icon to open the settings for the current module.

The settings panel automatically displays the configuration options for the module you are currently using.

Settings are module-specific, meaning changes made in one module do not affect the configuration of other modules.

Plan details

Plan details help you understand what is included for the current module.

This information can include the features, access level, or configuration options available for that module. Because modules in the Onclusive Unified Platform are licensed independently, plan-related information applies only to the current module.

Access to one module does not automatically include access to another one.

Depending on the module and your level of access, plan-related information may or may not be visible in Settings.

User management

User management controls who can access a module and what they can do in it.

This can include adding users, updating access levels, or managing permissions for the current module. User access is not only based on your organisation’s subscription. It also depends on how licences or access rights are assigned to individual users.

Because access is managed at module level, two users in the same organisation may have access to different modules.

My profile

My profile covers your personal account information.

This area is used for settings related to you as an individual user, such as your personal details, login information, or user preferences. These settings apply to your own account rather than to the wider module configuration.

The exact options available can vary depending on the module and your access level.

Account settings

Account settings control how the current module works for your organisation.

These settings usually include module-level configuration rather than personal preferences. Depending on the module, this can include setup options, content organisation rules, distribution settings, or other shared configuration choices.

For example, in the Review module, settings can include category management and review template configuration. These settings support how coverage is organised and used across the module.
